Nostalgia alert.
Mosney was a holiday site frequented by a lot of Irish families in the past. It used to be a Butlin’s and then became Mosney Holiday Centre.
This drone footage of Mosney sent in to us by Little Big Flix will revive a lot of memories for those of us who remember the red coats, the chalets, the amusements, the ballroom, the crazy golf, the indoor and the outdoor swimming pools.
Not forgetting of course Dan Lowry’s Bar which had windows showing the underwater of the indoor swimming pool next door.
You could sit there having a drink and also watch people pull mooners in your direction from underwater.
Good times.
