VIDEO: This Polish train worker went to great lengths to get these Irish fans some beer

Poland must remember the spectacular atmosphere that Irish fans brought to the Euros in 2012, because this Polish train attendant just performed some heroics to get these Irish fans some cans.

A group of Irish fans were on a train from Lodz to Warsaw in order to support the boys in green in tomorrow’s crucial clash with Poland.

Disappointment rang through the carriages when it was discovered no beer was being served on the train.

That’s when the waiter on the train stepped up to the plate, waited for the train to stop, sprinted to the supermarket to buy the Irish fans their beer, then legged it back.

Here he is on his glorious last lap of his journey:
