Oral examinations for the Leaving Cert are currently underway, with thousands of students across the country memorising conversations they will never have in real life in an effort to impress the examiners and get good marks.
It’s always preferable if you can converse about something you know about and for anyone of a GAA background, the scene painted by Rory’s Stories below will instantly strike a chord.
To all you Leaving Certs reading, we wish you all the best in the orals, although it’s probably best not to replicate Rory’s approach.
