This video is a good example as to why timid drivers can often be a danger to themselves and other road users.
When you think of a stereotypical bad driver you probably think of someone who drives fast and performs dangerous manoeuvres without thinking of anyone else on the road. However, as this video shows us, being timid on the road can also be extremely dangerous.

A van and a car manage to make it through a break in traffic without any hassle, but instead of spotting the approaching tram and hanging back, the Lada driver starts edging closer and closer to the opposite lane.
He eventually becomes stuck with nowhere to go and the tram ploughs straight into him. Luckily, no one was too badly hurt in the incident, but we imagine the Lada was a write off afterwards.
