VIDEO: Two groups of strangers randomly met on the DART and produced a class Teresa Mannion rap

Teresa goes gangsta.

Teresa Mannion’s now world famous news report from Galway earlier this month has been immortalised in any amount of remixes since, including the one we maintain will be the floor-filler in pubs and nightclubs all over Ireland over the Christmas.

Last night, there was an A Capella version spontaneously delivered on the DART when a group of girls from Greystones on a very necessary journey to Dublin for a night out got chatting to a group of fellas also en route to the big smoke.

Minutes later, the magic happened.

Considering it was unrehearsed, the timing and co-ordination here is extremely impressive, although somehow we doubt it would have been the same story if they met on the DART home a little later on.

Excellent work by all involved.

Cheers to Claire Thompson and Matt Gill for sending this our way. If you have something you would like to share with us, send it to [email protected] or hit us up on Facebook or Twitter
