Getting stranded in the middle of a frozen lake was merely part of a plan to get a free ride from hovercraft

When you come home from the shops with two hovercraft instead of the family's shopping for a week, you're bound to get accused of wasting money and buying something stupid. However, thanks to the magic of GoPro cameras, James Kenison and his dad Doug were able to prove that the investment was not so foolhardy, as they broke out the futuristic craft to save three deer stranded on Alberta Lea Lake in Minnesota. The video footage has just been shared by the official Go Pro channel in the last few days, but the rescue took place back in December, after James saw a Facebook post about the deer being stuck on the lake and sprang, or more accurately hovered into action.
