Ken Block’s modified Ford Fiesta met a fiery end after the American crashed out on lap one of the Top Gear Festival’s rally cross event in Barbados.
The guys from Top Gear were recently in Barbados showing off fancy cars and fancy tricks to the local petrol heads at the Top Gear Festival, but the show didn’t go off with out a few hiccups.
During lap one of the festival’s Global Rally Cross event, Ken Block, best known for his Gymkhana videos, crashed his modified Ford Fiesta after attempting to steal the lead on a bumpy corner.
Here’s what the Hoonigan had to say on Instagram: “Here’s the unusual and weird crash sequence from today’s #GlobalRallycross final here in Barbados. Perfectly fine and fighting for the lead one second, and then I’m airborne/upside-down/flying towards the wall the next.
“So lame to go out on the first round like this, all because of a kerb cut (which other drivers had done as well). But hey, that’s racing. My team and I will be back in full force for the next GRC race.”
