Footage recently taken from inside the cockpit of a US Navy Blue Angel shows just how close the pilots fly to each other during a practise flight.
The following video comes from D. Hartney, a Blue Angels Maintenance Officer, and it features four Blue Angels flying just inches away from each other.
While the video quality isn’t great, it still shows us just how well these guys can control their F/A-18 Hornets while flying in the Blue Angels trademark tight diamond formation (pictured above). We think it’s incredible that none of the pilots end up hitting off of each other. Mucho respect…
