Video: We’ve heard of box rooms but this box apartment in Paris is ridiculously tiny

We reckon this could be one of the cleverest designs we have seen in a long time…

The chances are at some stage in your life you’re going to end up in the box room of an apartment and your life will be a constant struggle to balance the amount of floor space you need for dirty clothes and still have enough room for activities. This apartment, yes, entire apartment, in Paris is just eight square metres in size but they have somehow managed to design it in such a way as to really utilise the limited space at their disposal. Have a look at the apartment in the video below and let us know what you think of it in the comments. We have to say though, we’re a bit sceptical about the whole sleeping arrangement for two reasons. We think it would feel like a coffin and climbing them narrow stairs after a few glasses of wobbly water would be some craic*. While we definitely wouldn’t live in this apartment long term but you could easily pass a summer or two in its cramped but well-designed depths. We will be completely honest though, all we can think of when we look at it is Chandler from Friends saying “ Look at this kitchen… slash bathroom”. *By some craic, we mean head-bustingly good fun…
