A Czech TV news channel made a right balls of their broadcast that led to a flood of complaints from viewers.
News presenter Daniel Takac was totally unaware of what was happening on a screen behind him live on air, though some of his colleagues can be seen giggling like children in the background.
Ceskatelevize, one of the country’s main broadcasters quickly apologised for the image which appeared at 4pm in the day.
“The image was actually part of a documentary, but we should have been aware of timing and not had that particular scene playing when we went on air,” said a spokesman for the channel.
As long as no-one got shafted for the error, it was after all just a simple mistake. We’d hate to see someone getting the sack for something so small.
