The pilot absolutely nails it.
It’s never nice flying in turbulence, but fortunately, there’s almost a always a safe pair of hands in the cockpit (and another safe pair of hands for safe measure).
Storm Callum put the fright up a few flyers over the weekend, and footage from the runway at Bristol Airport shows one particularly scary moment when the 40-knot wind caught a plane mid-air as it came into land, forcing the pilot into a sideways manoeuvre.
Luckily for all on board, it didn’t seem to be any trouble at all to the pilot.
