A pretty freaky sight.
An single-propeller airplane was forced to make an emergency landing on a busy American highway after its engine stalled.
Dash-cam footage, recorded by a Washington State trooper who had been driving on the road, captures the moment when the plane glides by at an extremely low-level and lands on the tarmac.
The on-duty trooper swung a quick U-turn and put his lights on, slowing traffic and facilitating the landing.
The incident occurred early in the morning, with the dash-cam showing a time of 8.17am.
The video below shows the incident in full, and even shows the pilot hopping out of the cockpit at the end.

Thankfully, nobody was injured in the incident.
