I've been working in Rio for the Olympics and Paralympics over the past few weeks, but I've also had time to explore the city.
I've hit all the big tourist attractions; Christ the Redeemer, Sugarloaf, Two Brothers, Ipanema, Copacabana, Escadaria Selarón and Lapa. It's been fantastic.
The other outstanding experience was my trip into the Santa Marta favela up in the hills behind Botafogo.
I was brought around by Guilherme from
Rio4Fun who gave me the history of the favela and an insight into life there.
