Big guests, great talks and a week of lunchtime entertainment.

Tayto drafted in some big names to brighten up people’s lunchtimes when they held a series of star-studded events across the country last week.

It was all part of their efforts to get the message out that lunch should be about lunch. It’s all too easy to end up working through lunch at your desk but Tayto are fighting to reclaim lunchtimes with their “It’s not lunchtime… It’s Tayto time!” campaign.

First up on the whirlwind tour of national lunchtimes was Limerick on Monday. Two of Ireland’s leading fashion and lifestyle bloggers, Suzanne Jackson (SoSueMe) and Limerick native Louise Cooney offered the audience top style tips and hosted a fashion show to showcase this season’s trends.

Tuesday’s event in Dublin brought together some of Ireland’s biggest names in sport and entertainment together for a panel discussion. MMA coach John Kavanagh was joined by Kerry legend Paul Galvin and Irish Olympian Natalya Coyle. The world of Irish entertainment was represented by comedian Des Bishop and Louise Duffy from Today FM, who also happens to be married to a certain All-Ireland winning panellist from Kerry!

It was another family affair in Cork on Wednesday, with radio legend KC on hand to interview John Kavanagh and his brother/Snapchat maestro James.

Last but not least on the lunchtime tour was Galway on Thursday, with musician and producer Daithi providing some musical entertainment down by the Spanish Arch.

It was a fitting end to a great week of lunchtime events. If that doesn’t encourage you to get out and reclaim your lunch, we don’t know what will!

For those of you who couldn’t make it to last week’s lunchtime entertainment, here’s what you missed.

From now on, it’s not lunchtime…it’s Tayto time!

Mr Tayto wants to call an end to desk dining and give you back your lunch break! Step away from the desk, ditch the paperwork and enjoy your break at lunchtime with a pack of the nation’s favourite crisps!
