WATCH: Donegal jiu jitsu coach surprises everybody with proposal after class
That's one way to do it.

It pays to be a little different with a proposal, it seems...

Sure, you can go the standard way about things and go out for a nice dinner. Following the deserts, you can ask the question she's no doubt been expecting the whole night.

Or you can do things a little differently, as we see here courtesy of the Donegal Democrat.

That's the card jiu jitsu instructor Bryan Gorman at DT Fitness decided to play...

Last week he finished off a class that his girlfriend Emer Martin was taking part in. At the end of the class, Bryan called her forward under the premise that she would be receiving a belt promotion, but instead, he popped the question.

Thankfully for Bryan, she said yes, or else it would've been fairly awkward in front of everyone.

The gym is run by Bryan and his brother Eddie, and we Bryan the very best of luck with his upcoming marriage.

Hey you! Yeah, YOU! Take a gawk at this...

It's Episode 16 of The JOE Show where you can check out amazing Irish artists Declan Shalvey and Will Sliney, we're joined by the wonderful Wyvern Lingo for the Magic Cover AND they hop on to our sofa for a wee chat, while Dara and Kymann probably need you to call them a doctor because they're tackling Ireland's hottest chicken wings.

Plus, Justine Stafford heads off to Cavan to see if she can be crowned the Queen of Muff, while Shifts team up with the very Saintly Tony Cantwell...
