WATCH: Irish groom serenades his bride down the aisle in lovely video

He’s putting the rest of us to shame, the talented bast*rd…

A lot of people dream of having the perfect wedding, where everything goes to plan and all the guests enjoy themselves without overindulging in the wobbly water.

One of the most important moments of the day for the bride is the walk down the aisle, and we’ve already seen what can go wrong at that moment when there’s overenthusiastic children on the loose.

Childhood sweethearts Jonathan Kernan and Siobhan Connolly got married yesterday in a lovely ceremony in Darver Castle, Louth.

The pair, from Castleblayney, Monaghan met each other in secondary school and haven’t looked back since.

During the ceremony, rather than using a traditional song while Siobhan walked down the aisle, Jonathan decided to serenade his bride down the aisle with his cover of Tenerife Sea by Ed Sheeran.

We’re sure there wasn’t a dry eye in the house when he finished the song accompanied by friends Ryan Craig on guitar and Jennifer O’Connor supporting on vocals.

For those of you unfamiliar with the song, here’s Ed Sheeran’s version…
