Chaos ensued in Ennis last week as members of the Irish Memory Orchestra prepared for their evening concert, only for the worst kind of heckler to make some unwanted noise.
A fire alarm drill threatened to throw the Clare orchestra off their rhythm, only to find them up for a quick improvised challenge.
Given that they’re the first and only troupe of their kind in the western world to play music exclusively from memory (according to their website), it’s perhaps no surprise that they quickly used the distraction to their advantage.
