It's a big problem...
One of the lowest things a dog owner can do is ignore the piece of business their dog does on a footpath... come on, just get a bag and pick it up, it's not that difficult.
Many a poor, unsuspecting soul has planted their foot in a stray piece of dog crap while walking, and had to deal with the unpleasant task of cleaning up the mess.
Well, the people of Newbridge in Kildare have had enough of that carry on and have set about combating the sneaky devils who leave their dog's waste on the public paths.
As captured by Annie Morris, we can see that the people of Newbridge Tidy Towns have put in some measures to give the park users a reminder to clean up their dog's business.

Activated on a sensor, it plays a message saying: "Newbridge Tidy Towns asks that you bin litter and clean up after your dog. Any bag, any bin will do."
Not only this but they've also used some Banksy-esque anti-dog poop signs and other clever ways to remind users to bin the doggy business.
