Pure happiness.
Surprise gifts are the best gifts. Freya was certainly not expecting too much from her day, but she ended up getting exactly what she wanted.
Her mother Roisin decided to surprise her with the gift of a puppy, which Freya has been begging for five years, and her reaction to the little fella almost seems to right all that’s wrong with the world.
Freya pretty much sums it up when she sobs: “Oh my God, he’s so cute.”
By the way, they named him Benji.
While it’s not quite the same reaction, we had a story a few months ago about a little man named Sam, down in Cork who was just amazed about seeing sunlight properly for the first time.
His mother Natalie took this video yesterday as the little fella couldn’t understand what on earth was happening to his hand when he put it into the sun.
