WATCH: Mayo groom and groomsmen arrive to wedding ceremony in the bucket of a JCB

Conor Heneghan

And we thought it was the bride who was supposed to make the grand entrance.

That’s usually the case, but Ronan Waldron made sure that everyone was going to notice him and his groomsmen before his wedding to Colleen in Ballyhaunis in Mayo on Saturday.

No need for a fancy car for Ronan and company, who made their way into the church in Ballyhaunis in the (very clean) bucket of a JCB, which was suitably decorated for the occasion.

As if that wasn’t enough, the skilled driver of the JCB extended the bucket to its highest height just as it turned in at the entrance to the church; we’re sure he would have driven them down the aisle as well if the JCB could have fit through the doors.

If Ronan went to those lengths, we can only imagine how spectacular Colleen’s entrance must have been; just another reason for them not to forget the biggest day of their lives.

Cheers to James Michael Waldron for sending this our way. Got a story for JOE? Hit us up on Facebook or Twitter, send it to our WhatsApp number 087-4001102 or mail [email protected].
