Models become accustomed to having their photo taken in all sorts of glamorous locations and locations don’t come much more glamourous than the Cayan Tower in Dubai, which, at just over 300 metres in height, was the tallest building in the world as recently as 2013. Russian Instagram model Viktoria Odintsova took part in a photoshoot at the building recently, but it was no ordinary photoshoot, as footage from her Instagram account will illustrate. A fear of heights is obviously not something that affects Victoria, who dangled dangerously off a beam at the top of the tower, with only the arm of an assistant to provide balance and to keep her from falling off the edge. Given the daredevil nature of the stunt, it’s probably no surprise the video has got just under 400,000 views and counting in the space of a week. It’s also attracted plenty of criticism in the comments section alongside the video on Instagram, with some labelling the stunt “stupid”, “crazy”, “ridiculous” and “dangerous”.
