“We’re here! We’re queer! We don’t want any more bears!”
The Romanian counties of Harghita and Prahova have developed something of a bear problem in recent weeks, with hungry brown bears coming down from the nearby mountains to forage for food in the rubbish bins of the towns.
However, some of the locals have developed a pretty casual attitude towards their new guests. Footage even shows some of the townspeople playing with the bears.
One man told the BBC, “A bear entered an old woman’s house and ate the pancakes from her table. He didn’t attack her, all he wanted was the pancakes.”

Some locals, on the other hand, have pulled a Springfield on it, and are calling for something to be done about the bears.
