WATCH: Saturday Night Live gets loud and angry about the recent wave of sexual assault allegations

"Everyone you've ever known and loved is a sex monster."

Rory Cashin

This weekend, Saturday Night Live made history by having their first ever black female comedian host the show.

Over the 43 years that SNL has been on the air, Tiffany Haddish was only the 12th black woman to host, following on in the footsteps of Octavia Spencer, Kerry Washington, Taraji P. Henson, Gabourey Sidibe, Rosario Dawson, Janet Jackson, Queen Latifah, Halle Berry, Cicely Tyson, Maya Rudolph and Oprah Winfrey.

Haddish made it to the big time this summer with the hit comedy Girls Trip (which, truth be told, might be the funniest movie of 2017), and with her landmark moment on SNL, she definitely decided to make her mark.

As part of her opening monologue, Haddish spoke about the spate of recent sexual harassment and assault allegations plaguing Hollywood and politics, and she gave some spot on advice to the men in the audience:

“If you’ve got your thing-thing out, and she’s got all her clothes on, you’re wrong!”

Additionally, as part of the Weekend Update, the “news anchors” covered sex allegations, focusing GOP Senate candidate Roy Moore, who is accused of having sexual relations with several teenage girls while he was in his 30’s.

The anchors compare Moore, and his constant want and need to put the Ten Commandments up everywhere, with the allegations made against recent SNL host Louis CK -“What’s next, the guy who always jokes about masturbating wasn’t joking about masturbating?” – and results in a “H.R. lady” coming out to quiz the anchors on the basics of workplace appropriateness.
