Wow.
The fine spell of weather we’ve had recently has had Irish people flocking to the seaside in droves in recent weeks, but they’re not the only ones who’ve been enjoying a dip in the water off the Irish coastline.
We’ve brought you numerous instances of basking sharks swimming close to the shore in Ardmore in Waterford of late and in Mayo, it appears as if a pod of dolphins have taken a shine to the beautiful Achill Island.
Earlier this month, Ryszard Kubicki, who works in the area, was freediving in Achill and took his GoPro with him to record his experience.
It’s a good job he did too because he encountered a number of dolphins swimming alongside him, whose fins were clearly visible a (long) stone’s throw away from the beach.
