WATCH: The incredible moment a 14-year-old boy came face to face with a whale in Kerry
An incredible video captured just off the coast of Kerry.
An up close video of a humpback video off the coast of Kerry was recently captured by Terry and Tomás Deane from Camp.
The two of them were roughly 15 miles northwest of Brandon when they experienced the "unreal" encounter on Friday 21 June.
Speaking to RTÉ, Terry said: "We had gone out on the longest day of the year with the intention of finding whales.
"We were observing three animals feeding for about an hour, but then they came over to the boat to check us out."

Absolutely incredible stuff.
Terry continued: "Tomás was at the end of the rib filming underwater footage with a GoPro camera. But suddenly one of the humpbacks spyhopped out of the water. There he was just towering over him. It was unreal. We were shaking, not with fear, but in awe."
Whales tend to poke their heads out of the water in this manner in an attempt to get a better view of what's around them.
You love to see it.
