In a town as big as Drogheda is, there will be enough people hitting the town during the summer months to fill a number of pubs and clubs.
Those pubs and clubs will still do all within their power to attract the punters and to become THE venue of choice, however, and if that involves having a bit of a dig at the opposition, then so be it.
Last week, one of the nightclubs in the town, Earth, released a video to promote the launch of 4Play Thursdays, where students can avail of €4 entry fee and all drinks for the same price.
There was no expense spared for the video, which gets a little raunchy and risqué at times.
Not to be outdone, Fusion Nightclub responded with a video for their own Thursday night promotion, Student Summer Thursdays, and it’s hard to think that the similarities between both videos were coincidental.
With both venues going to so much effort, Drogheda should be great craic over the summer months.
