WATCH: Tipperary woman’s reaction to virtual reality is absolute peak Irish Mammy

Alan Loughnane

Brilliant…

One of the golden rules of VR is to ensure that you know what you’re letting yourself in for, because you’re in for a nasty shock otherwise… well, a hilarious, but nasty shock.

Poor Kathleen Ryan from Tipperary didn’t handle the pressure very well when she tried out VR for the first time.

She played Until Dawn: Rush of Blood, which is an interactive drama, survival, horror video game. Basically it’s set around a group of eight teenagers who decide it’s a good idea (do these kids ever learn?) to spend a night in an isolated cabin, one year on from the disappearance of two teenage girls.

The gang find themselves under attack from a psychopath and must survive until morning, so we think you can guess the type of game this is…

Needless to say, Kathleen did not enjoy her experience while her children watched on in laughter…

At least she handled it better than this woman

Cheers to Gavin Ryan for sending this our way.
