Footage has emerged of the incident.

Tommy Robinson, the founder of the English Defence League and an adviser to Gerard Batten (the Leader of UKIP), had a milkshake dumped on his head while confronting a man on the streets of Warrington earlier today (2 May).

The former EDL leader, who has been noted for his far-right views, is currently running for a seat in the European Parliament.

Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, was banned from Twitter, Facebook and Instagram in the earlier months of 2019.

Now, footage has emerged of an incident where Robinson ends up with a McDonald’s milkshake over his head. After the altercation, someone can be heard shouting “That’s what you get for being a fascist.” Several onlookers can then be seen applauding and cheering the incident.

It is the second such incident in two days. Robinson was hit by another milkshake while campaigning in Bury yesterday.

According to the Lancashire Telegraph, the other man involved in the fracas had this to say: “I was in Warrington for a meeting and afterwards was on my way home. I had to pass this group of people. He just kept talking to me. I kept moving location. I was the only Asian guy there.

“I said to him I do not wish to speak to you on or off camera. I just got annoyed with him. A milk shake ‘slipped’ out of my hand.mI had no intention of doing anything or reacting in any way. But he kept talking. I feel a bit shaken up and shocked to be honest.”
