Meet Elisabetta and Maria, and pay very close attention to their faces because you're going to have serious trouble telling them apart. The two young Italian women live together in the city of Pisa and they look almost identical. The pair met in boarding school and realised that they looked so similar when they saw a photo of themselves. They featured on the Twin Strangers YouTube channel that brings together people who look uncannily alike despite not sharing any genes. "The first time I met Maria it was the first night of college, then the day after I went to breakfast and I saw a person that I thought was Maria so I started talking to her. So she asked me 'How can you know me so well if we never talked?'"
