This is like something out of a Final Destination movie.
When you’re driving, especially on a motorway or freeway, there are so many things you need to be aware of to ensure your safety.
Your own driving position, other cars, are you tired at all?, the weather, and on and on and on.
But now, we’ve got some good news!
If you’ve got any kind of anxiety at all about driving, you can now add elements of the freeway itself turning against you.
A 53-year-old woman in Melbourne was driving along the freeway there, when suddenly the huge road sign above her came crashing down, practically crushing her car entirely.
Nine News Melbourne have the exclusive on the dash-cam footage of the incident:

The good news is that the driver escaped with only minor injuries, although authorities are still completely clueless as to how the sign collapsed in the first place.
Fantastic, as if there weren’t already enough things in Australia trying to kill you…
Authorities are urgently trying to work out how an overhead freeway sign fell, crushing a passing driver's car in Melbourne. Amazingly, she was not badly hurt and was taken to hospital in a stable condition suffering neck injuries. #Melbourne #7News pic.twitter.com/TBSh2SMMyg
