We wonder if any Irish people were involved in this cheeky new world record attempt in Perth

It looks like some craic

They may have broken a world record.

You know the way it is; you’re away on a foreign holiday and someone suggests skinny-dipping so you immediately strip off and run into the sea.

We’ve all been there, right? Right guys?

Anyway, 790 people in Perth decided to do just that to break a record for the world’s largest skinny dip.

The previous record was an attempt in New Zealand, which saw 744 skinny dippers get involved, so the people of Perth have just topped that.

The event raised money and awareness for the Butterfly Foundation, which is a charity representing those affected by eating disorders and negative body image.

The people at Guinness are yet to confirm the record, but the numbers don’t lie.

Considering the amount of Irish people living in Perth, we imagine there were a few pale, freckled bodies among the 790.
