This week's weather is set to have good and bad moments
A few days of sunshine is the best you can hope for, really.
Ireland had a bit of a mini-heatwave last week before a wet weekend in most parts, but it looks like the early stages of this week are set to be nice enough yet again.
We can expect to see temperatures between 13 and 17 degrees on Tuesday, with sunny spells throughout the country.
Wednesday will be nice too, with Met Éireann describing it as "mainly dry" with just a few isolated showers and some bright or sunny spells. With light variable winds, highest temperatures will reach 15 to 18 degrees, which is more than enough excuse for wearing a t-shirt and drinking outdoors.
Temperatures will remain between 15 and 17 degrees on Thursday but there will be more rain. Met Éireann is forecasting "showers or longer spells of rain with a rainbelt stalling over the country," though the north and southwest may escape.
