This wedding party from Dublin were so much craic in Tipperary that the band want to thank them

Paul Moore

If you’re doing an after party, do it in style.

Any wedding is usually a tiring affair because after all that travelling, dancing and drinking, most people are just delighted to kick-off their shoes and fall into bed, usually after a trip to the residence bar!

The morning after any wedding reception will usually result in a few people feeling a bit ‘tender’, but there are always some folk that just want to keep the party going. If you happen to be one of these party animals then we’ve got nothing but love for you.

One man that also wants to express his admiration for a particular wedding party is musician Andy Loughnane. Andy is part of a two-piece band from Tipperary named Dufrane and he wants to thank every single person that made their recent gig at the Whiskey Still in Dromineer (outside Nenagh) extremely memorable.

If you attended a wedding at Coolbawn Quay, Tipperary on December 28th, this message is for you;

This is video of a gig we played over Christmas, for a small wedding crowd from Dublin. We played for them at four o’clock the day after the wedding. This video got just short of 4K views on our Facebook page but we were never able to reach the wedding couple after this. The video was taken on December 29th and we were expecting to play a bit of quiet music for about 50/60 people, it ended up being one of the liveliest gigs we ever did!”

Andy adds, “The groom’s name was Marcus and they (the guests) were mostly from Dublin and Meath, but I can’t remember their full names. We just want to say thank you for a memorable time.”

Here’s what unfolded. Some scenes.
