We’re hiring! JOE is on the hunt for a kick-ass copywriter

Are you the wonderful wordsmith we're looking for?

JOE

Are you the wonderful wordsmith we’re looking for?

Well hello there potential employee. Do you know how to write sentences real good with text and punctuation and stuff?

Are you able to paint a picture with your words? The way that a painter paints a picture using real paint?

When your friends introduce you to other people at fancy parties do they say “hi everybody, this is my friend Steve and he’s an excellent copywriter”?

If you answered “yes” to any of the questions above, then your name coincidentally happens to be Steve, or you’re just the copywriter that we’re looking for here at JOE.ie.

JOE.ie, along with sister site Her.ie, is one of the leading lifestyle and fastest-growing websites for Irish men and women and is owned and operated by Maximum Media. The two websites have a combined social following of 444,000, with the award-winning JOE.ie boasting over 2 million unique users every month, as well as an individual social media following of 235,000 strong.

Due to this remarkable and extensive growth, a new and exciting opportunity has now appeared on the horizon of life… that’s essentially a really rubbish analogy meaning that we want to give you a full-time job – the job of Copywriter.

The ideal candidate will work as part of the JOE.ie editorial team and will also work closely with client services to interpret briefs, produce original, clear, credible ideas, and provide excellent content written in the JOE style.

Don’t apply if you’re not good enough though because here at Maximum Media we’re looking for the Judge Judy (Judge JOE-dy?) of copywriting… in so far as you’ll be fantastic at forming and dishing out lengthy sentences.

You’ll have to provide your own work-robes though. We’re not sorting that out for you.

So if you believe that you’re the wonderful wordsmith that we’re looking for then send your CV and Cover Letter to [email protected] and make sure to write  ’JOE.ie Copywriter’ in the subject line.

The closing date for applications is Wednesday, April 16th, so make sure to send in your CV and Cover Letter before then.
