The theme for this year’s exhibit has also been revealed.

Dublin Zoo’s Wild Lights is returning once again this year with a brand new theme, with this year’s exhibit being centered around Stories, Myths and Legends.

Wild Lights is quickly becoming a Christmas time tradition and it looks like this year’s event is going to be another good’un.

This year’s event will feature “magical scenes from well-known stories like the Wonderful Wizard of Oz, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, Peter Pan and the Jungle Book.”

Over a thousand illuminated lanterns will transform Dublin Zoo every evening, while your Instagram feed is completely dominated by cool pictures of the whole thing.

Wild Lights will take place every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday in November before it opens every night of the week in December – except for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and St. Stephen’s Day.

It’s open from 5pm until 9pm, with the last admission being at 8pm.

Tickets will go on sale on the official Dublin Zoo website on Friday morning at 11am.

Dublin Zoo have noted that children and visitors under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times and teenagers may be required to show ID.

Admission to the exhibit will cost €20 for adults and €15 for children.
