Life since the Covid-19 pandemic took hold earlier this year has been strange for us all and it’s taking time to get used to what will become the new normal.
Although the weather hasn’t always reflected it recently, we’re still at a time of year when we should be heading on holidays, attending festivals and making memories that last a lifetime.
And while that’s not possible to the same extent this year as it usually would be, there are still ways and means to connect with friends and mark some of the moments and milestones that we’ve all missed for the best part of the last six months.
With that in mind, Roe & Co Distillery, located at the heart of Dublin’s historic brewing and distilling quarter on James’ Street, are offering the perfect experience for the many people who didn’t get to celebrate their landmark event as they should have.
The first anniversary of Roe & Co Distillery fell on 21 June and like all of you who didn’t get the chance to celebrate your birthday properly, they want to make up for it by giving you a chance to win a Cocktail Workshop Experience for you and up to five of your best pals.
What does the Cocktail Workshop Experience involve?

Participants will get:
- An immersive whiskey tasting in Room 106 of the distillery, exploring tasting notes of Roe & Co.
- The opportunity to stir up your favourite Roe & Co cocktails in the Flavours Workshop. Roe & Co’s whiskey experts will give you a personal step-by-step guide on how to make the perfect cocktail, tailored to your taste buds.
- To round it all off, a complimentary cocktail in the Roe & Co Power House bar to put the cherry on top of a wonderful evening.
The kind folks at Roe & Co have generously offered up 50 cocktail-making experiences in total, with each winner permitted to bring along up to five of their best friends for a memorable evening at the distillery.
Like the sound of what’s in store? Here’s what you have to do to enter (The competition is open to entrants aged 18 and over and terms and conditions apply).
- Visit the Roe & Co website
- Fill out your name
- Fill out your date of birth. The competition is targeted at those of you who didn’t get the chance to celebrate your birthday properly during lockdown, so your date of birth must be between 13 March and 10 August.
- Enter a comment on the Roe and Co Birthday webpage that explains ‘What is your favourite cocktail and why?’
The prize will be valid for three months once the winner confirms receipt of the prize. Exact times for the cocktail making experience will be confirmed upon receipt of the prize, dependent on Roe & Co Distillery opening hours and time slots.
