We only have a week or so to go until the joy that is the creme egg disappears off our shelves for another year. But one enterprising butcher in Liverpool has created a new way to enjoy the sweet treat.

Graham Eyes, who has a few shops in the Merseyside area, is proudly pictured in the Liverpool Echo with his new creation.
Like a normal Scotch Egg, the outside is breaded sausage meat and herbs but the inside is a delicious chocolate gooey creme egg rather than a normal hen's egg. The egg is sold ready to cook, you just have to chuck it in the oven or the microwave.
Graham admits there has been a 'mixed reaction' so far but if he wants to pop one in a jiffy bag and send it over to us, we'll be happy to try it.
