Northern Lights

You need to book fast!

The Northern Lights are one of those things that most people probably think they’d want to visit at some point in their lives, but never quite get around it, because we assume Iceland (and other places you can see them) are far away, and expensive to get to.

Well both of those things are pretty much untrue.

Flight time from Dublin to Iceland’s capital city Reykjavik is around two-and-a-half hours, and thanks to WOW Air’s flights sale, you can get there for as little as 30 quid!

The sale is running from today (Wed 9 Jan) to midnight on Sunday 13 Jan, with selected one-way flights between January to March starting from €29.99.

There are daily flights from Dublin to Iceland, and the Northern Lights season runs from late September to early April every year anyways, so you unless it is a particularly cloudy few days, you should be able to check them out.

Svanhvít Fridriksdóttir, the director of Communications at WOW air, said:

“We are delighted to help our Irish passengers beat the winter blues with even lower fares to Iceland and the opportunity to see the Northern Lights. The lights are a bucket list item for many travellers so our latest offer times nicely with the season.”

Head to the WOW Air website ASAP (here) to book your flights.
