Yes, this weekend’s weather is going to suck, but things are looking up after that

Weather

Things are looking up. And by things, we mean the temperature.

After the recent heatwave that basically signified Summer arriving, kicking down the door of your house, careening around the living room, knocking everything over and then hastily making a run for it before the police arrived, leaving you confused and sweaty, things have returned to normal.

And by normal, we mean normal for Ireland in Summer, by which we mean lots of clouds and wind and rain.

This weekend isn’t going to be great, as nationwide rain will be matched only by the sub-par temperatures which will barely break double digits over Saturday and Sunday.

HOWEVER!

Come Monday and Tuesday, it all starts to pick up a bit.

Less rain, more sunshine, and higher temperatures, as Met Eireann are reporting that we can expect things to get as high as 18 degrees, with the majority of the good weather sticking to the east of the country.

Truth be told, they’re also predicting that Wednesday will return us to anywhere between 11 and 14 degrees, with the return of rain-clouds, but with the sunny times coming more regularly, we’re keeping our fingers crossed that Wednesday is just the one bad day next week.
