That mate you know who always goes there is probably responsible for half of this…
JOE is always sceptical when we hear people say that they’ve never been to the incredibly popular Dublin nightclub Copper Face Jacks because these are usually the same people who think they’ve lost their shoes whilst wearing them.
The Harcourt Street venue still seems to be the most popular choice for all club-goers after they revealed a €5.5m pre-tax profit for 2013 according to the Herald; this breaks down to €15,219 every day or €106,533 every week.
That’s a hell of a lot of Jagerbombs.
The club, which usually plays some part in most crazy stories during a night out, is owned by former Garda Cathal Jackson, whose venutre has amassed a fairly tidy sum of €46.29m since it’s been opened.
The new accounts that were lodged by the night-club’s firm – presumably not after having made a show of themselves in the venue – show that their cash increased by €3.32m to €46.29m at the end of January 31 since the last set of figures were presented.
Fair play to all involved because Coppers has somehow managed to become more than a a nightclub. For example it’s where a Monaghan man chatted up a girl with a sock, where OutKast hung out and one of the few places where you can find love whilst discussing Call of Duty and cross-dressing.
Don’t ever change Coppers.
