How do you pronounce ‘Nike’?
It’s an age-old argument; one that divides communities and ends friendships.
But Nike isn’t the only brand name worthy of such a debate. In fact, one look at this infographic from Oomph will tell you that there are potentially loads of established brands that you’ve been saying wrong all your life. How embarrassing.
Some of the pronunciations listed in the graphic are pretty self-explanatory: Adobe is “ah-do-bee” and Chevrolet is “shev-ro-lay”. But “meal-uh” (Miele)? And “wah-way” (Huawei)?
Yeah, us neither.
