A brand new type of car is launching in Ireland later on this year

Electric cars are such a good buzz…

Over the last few years you’ve probably noticed filling stations, car parks and motorways add ‘plug in’ booths for electric cars in one of our efforts to save mother nature from ourselves.

The world’s second-most popular brand of electric car, Tesla Motors, will be launching in Ireland this year – giving us more variety in electric cars, and the option to buy eco-friendly models that are also very easy on the eyes.

Tesla Motors CEO and bajillionaire Elon Musk confirmed on his Twitter that Tesla would be coming to Ireland in 2016 (though he provided scant details).

I think that’s all we’re getting out of him for now, but we’ll be interested to see any developments. Tesla make the Model S and Model X cars, and has plans to release a Model 3 soon.
