Movies on TV. It is like Netflix, except it starts at a very specific time.

The new Terminator movie is in cinemas today. Should you go see it? Check out our review right here.

But the weather is also cold and wet, so maybe outside just isn’t on your agenda this evening. In which case, we recommend you check out one of the following…

WEDNESDAY 23 OCTOBER

Percy Jackson: Sea Of Monsters – Film4 – 6.45pm

While it never quite hit the highs of even the worst Harry Potter movie, there is still some fun to be had in the Percy Jackson series, especially this one, which sees the mortal children of gods travel the high seas in search of the legendary Golden Fleece.

She’s The One – E! – 9pm

A taxi driver who picks up his ex and thinks they are about to rekindle their old relationship, only to discover that she is having an affair with his brother. Cameron Diaz, Edward Burns, Jennifer Aniston, and Leslie Mann star in the above-average rom-com.

The Messengers – Horror Channel – 9pm

Kristen Stewart stars as the older sister in a family who have moved into a new house, and only she and her young brother can see visions of a supernatural entity that seems intent on hurting them. We’re coming up to Halloween, so this is your hit of horror for the night.

Crank – ITV4 – 10.30pm

Jason Statham has to do whatever he can to keep his heart pumping as fast as it can possibly go, or he’ll die from a poison that he has been injected with. One of the most bonkers action movies of all time, and all the better for it.

T2: Trainspotting – Film4 – 10.50pm

The many-years-later sequel sees the Trainspotting lads all grown up, with some having moved on with their lives, and some still stuck in the depths of Glasgow and their old problems. An interesting look at aging and how men can sometimes deal with it very poorly.
