Funny to think that this movie came out 13 years ago, but there are still entire sections that are so impossibly cringe-yourself-inside-out funny that they, to this day, are incredibly difficult to watch without wincing.
Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk – FilmFour – 11pm
Ang Lee directs this all-star cast (Vin Diesel, Kristen Stewart, Steve Martin, Garrett Hedlund, Chris Tucker, Tim Blake Nelson), telling the story of 19-year-old American war hero, and how the perception of what people think he and his fellow soldiers achieved in Iraq, and his memories of what actually happened.
Cliffhanger – ITV4 – 11.10pm
Sylvester Stallone is the retired mountain climbing expert who is forced by a group of terrorists to find the millions of dollars that fell from their latest heist, and into the treacherous mountain region he knows better than anyone.
Contains one of the greatest opening scenes in cinema history.
