WEDNESDAY 12 FEBRUARY
Exodus: Gods And Kings - FilmFour - 6.05pm
The first of two Ridley Scott movies tonight, this one telling the biblical tale of Moses (Christian Bale), who learns about his true lineage, and decides to rise against Pharaoh Ramesses II (Joel Edgerton) to help the Hebrews escape from Egypt.
Coming To America - Comedy Central - 9pm
"Yeah, I met Dr. Martin Luther King in 1962 in Memphis, Tennessee. I walkin' down the street minding my own business, just walking on. Feelin' good. I walk around the corner, a man walk up, hit me in my chest, right. I fall on the ground, right. And I look up and it's Dr. Martin Luther King. I said 'Dr. King?' and he said 'Ooops, I thought you were somebody else.'"
Black Hawk Down - ITV4 - 9pm
Ewan McGregor, Josh Hartnett, Eric Bana, Orlando Bloom, Tom Sizemore, Sam Shepherd and loads more star in Ridley Scott's savagely intense war movie, set against the true story of a team of nearly 100 US Army Rangers who travel to the capital city of Mogadishu to nab the top two lieutenants of a Somali warlord.
Demolition Man - TCM - 9pm
Sylvester Stallone is the maniac cop who is frozen and then... defrosted?... in the future to stop Wesley Snipes' maniac bad guy. It is a bonkers, OTT action thriller, and it is A LOT of fun. Just don't take any of it too seriously.
Reservoir Dogs - Film Four - 11.05pm
Tarantino's first movie, and in the eyes of many, arguably still his best. A tight, rapid-fire thriller dealing with the violent fallout of a diamond heist gone wrong. Endlessly quotable, almost instantly iconic.
