Here are your small screen choices this evening, and yes, the majority of them are thrillers or horrors. Enjoy!

WEDNESDAY 13 NOVEMBER

Europa Report – Film4 – 7.15pm

A group of international scientists are part of the first manned mission to Jupiter’s fourth biggest moon, after evidence is discovered that it may be home to an alien life form. However, once they get there, the biggest problem is sending a message back home…

Red Lights – Horror Channel – 9pm

A psychologist (Sigourney Weaver) and her assistant (Cillian Murphy) take it upon themselves to investigate into the claims that a world-famous psychic (Robert De Niro) may have used his powers to kill one of his biggest critics. A paranormal psychological thriller with a lot of twists and turns and, obviously, a pretty spectacular cast.

The Enforcer – ITV4 – 9pm

Dirty Harry (Clint Eastwood) is partnered with a female investigation (it was 1976, so he isn’t happy about it) to stop a group of terrorists holding San Francisco hostage for… dun dun dun… TWO MILLION DOLLARS!

Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children – Film4 – 9pm

Think X-Men, but for kids. Eva Green is the principal of a school for gifted youngsters, who find themselves under attack by Samuel L. Jackson’s evil, power-hungry villain. Pretty amazing supporting cast, too.

Cherry Falls – Horror Channel – 12.55am

A psychotic murderer is killing all of the virgins in the small town of Cherry Falls, so the teenagers decide to take action to fight back by… planning a big orgy. That is all you need to know, really. Stars Brittany Murphy, Michael Biehn, and a few more “Oh, I know their faces, but not their names” folk.
