Here are the 5 best movies on TV tonight

Rory Cashin

fast furious 7

A very action movie heavy night tonight!

Any plans later?

Maybe heading to the cinema? If you’re not sure what to see, we’ve reviewed all the big screen releases right here.

Sitting in?

Then maybe you’ll want to check out one of these:

TUESDAY 2 APRIL

Juno – Universal TV – 8.00pm

Ellen Page is the sassy teenager who discovers that she is pregnant, and we follow her sassy trials and even sassier tribulations as everyone in her life deals with this new information. The sass level may be too much for some, to be honest.

Fast & Furious 7 – ITV2 – 8.00pm

The one where Jason Statham finally rocks up and attempts to kill everyone with a kick to the face. It is also the one that confines The Rock to a hospital bed for the majority of the action. And when you’ve got The Rock, you use The Rock! Which they eventually do, when he literally flexes out of a broken arm cast.

Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol – FilmFour – 8.00pm

Tom Cruise climbs the world’s tallest building, and runs pretty much everywhere else, in attempt to stop a madman from starting a nuclear war. The plot of this one is pretty weak, truth be told, but the stunts are as great as they’ve ever been.

Run All Night – RTE Two – 9.00pm

Liam Neeson is a long time hitman for the mob, headed by Ed Harris, but when Neeson’s son (Joel Kinneman) is targeted by that same mob, he is forced to put family first and go on the run, killing anyone who gets in their way.

Lethal Weapon – ITV4 – 9.35pm

Mel Gibson. Danny Glover. The cinematic definition of amazing big screen chemistry.

LISTEN: You Must Be Jokin’ with Aideen McQueen – Faith healers, Coolock craic and Gigging as Gaeilge
