TUESDAY 14 AUGUST
Mission: Impossible III - Sky One - 9.00pm
Arguably the best of the series (depending on who you ask), and features both Philip Seymour Hoffman as the big bad guy and a bridge attack scene that still stands out as one of the best action sequences of the 21st century.
Easy A - Comedy Central - 9.00pm
The movie that keeps getting lost in the shadow of Mean Girls, despite arguably being A LOT funnier, thanks to Emma Stone on fantastically adorkable form as the teenage girl who rallies against her school when she gets branded as a 'slut', and some great support from the likes of Stanley Tucci, Patricia Clarkson and Thomas Hayden Church.
American Pie - ITV2 - 9.00pm
If you don't know where she put the flute, then you probably need to watch this movie, as it is something of a modern comedy classic.
Night Of The Living Dead - BBC Four - 10.00pm
George A. Romero's 1968 original, the movie which more or less brought the zombie genre into the world, as corpses begin to claw their way from their graves, and a small group of people seek refuge in a house, willing to do whatever it takes to stay alive.
Lawless - Film 4 - 11.10pm
Tom Hardy, Jessica Chastain, Shia LaBeouf, Guy Pearce, Mia Wasikowska, Jason Clarke, Gary Oldman and Dane DeHaan star in this tale of a group of bootlegging brothers, the women they fall in love with, and the government agent who has them all in his sights.
Killer Elite - ITV4 - 11.40pm
Jason Statham, Clive Owen and Robert DeNiro star in this silly but still entertaining action thriller about a killer-for-hire who is forced into murdering the three children of an English government agent as revenge for his previous actions.
