Because not everybody will want to go see Endgame…

Although you should go see Endgame, because it is great, as we say in our review right here.

But if you insist on sitting in tonight, then there are plenty of other movies to choose from:

THURSDAY 25 APRIL

Edward Scissorhands – FilmFour – 6.55pm

Arguably both Tim Burton’s and Johnny Depp’s best movie, as they give us a dark and twisted fairytale about a boy made with, well, scissors for hands, and the girl who falls in love with him.

The Boy Next Door – Virgin Media One – 9.00pm

Cards on the table, this movie is TERRIBLE. But it is exactly the kind of So-Bad-It-Is-Amazing levels terrible that make it all too watchable, as it involves Jennifer Lopez having a one-night-stand with her hunky neighbour, who turns out to be a teenager, and then develops a dangerous fixation on her.

Austin Powers In Goldmember – Comedy Central – 9.00pm

“I love gooooooooooooooooooooooooold.”

My Super Ex-Girlfriend – Syfy – 9.00pm

Luke Wilson is the regular guy, who falls in love with Uma Thurman, who at first appears to be a regular lady, except she is actually a superpowered superhero, who doesn’t take him dumping her very well at all.

Carlito’s Way – ITV4 – 10.35pm

Al Pacino plays a recently released career criminal who wants to go on the straight and narrow, but gets drawn back into the thick of it by his shady lawyer Sean Penn. A stylish and very entertaining crime thriller.

World Trade Centre – TCM – 11.25pm

Nic Cage and Michael Pena play two firefighters who get trapped in the rubble of the WCM after the attacks on 9/11. Directed by Oliver Stone, so it is about as far away from subtle as you can get, but it is still a good watch.

LISTEN: You Must Be Jokin’ with Aideen McQueen – Faith healers, Coolock craic and Gigging as Gaeilge
