But this is officially (double checks calendar)… yep, this is the last week of the month and sure then it is practically summer.

But what to do to get through this final Monday of January? We recommend movies.

You can check out one of the big screen releases (our reviews of them all are right here), or below are the best options to be found on the small screen this evening:

MONDAY 27 JANUARY

The Devil Wears Prada – FilmFour – 6.45pm

Anne Hathaway lands the dream/nightmare job as the personal assistant to Meryl Streep’s fashion editor and slowly finds herself being drawn deeper and deeper into the backstabbing world of high-end magazine’ing.

Ben Stiller takes on a job as a nightswatchman at a museum, but all of the exhibits come to life each and every night and it is up to him to find out why.

American Made – TG4 – 9.30pm

Tom Cruise and Domhnall Gleeson star in the true story of a pilot who is secretly hired by the CIA to infiltrate a drugs cartel, only for the pilot to make the most of the situation and make A LOT OF MONEY from both sides.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day – ITV4 – 10pm

The best action movie ever made? Discuss. But quietly, we’re watching it over here.

Lone Survivor – FilmFour – 11.10pm

Mark Wahlberg, Taylor Kitsch, Ben Foster and Eric Bana star in this true story of a Navy SEALS unit who head into Afghanistan to take out a Taliban leader, only to find themselves lost and alone behind enemy lines when the entire mission goes sideways.

Triangle – Horror Channel – 12.35am

A bereaved woman heads on a boating trip with some friends, when they stumble across what appears to be an entirely empty cruise liner. But, of course, it is not as empty they initially thought…
